Freeman Ranked As Largest Global Event Marketing Company by AdvertisingAge

Industry Growth in Experiential Marketing Category Tops Advertising, PR, and Media

April 28, 2014 - Freeman ranked as the largest global event-marketing company in AdvertisingAge’s ranking of the "World’s 50 Largest Agency Companies." This annual ranking and analysis of advertising and marketing-services agencies includes companies in all marketing categories.

In the U.S., Freeman was listed among the largest Experiential/Event agencies, as well as Promotions agencies, ranking #2 in both categories.

“We are proud of the unique value proposition Freeman and FreemanXP are bringing to the experiential marketing category,” said Chris Cavanaugh, President of FreemanXP, a boutique experience marketing agency offering a full range of marketing solutions within the Freeman organization. “The relationships and superior customer service that Freeman has come to provide is of value to our clients anywhere around the globe.”

Researchers at AdAge noted that overall "promotion-agency revenue rose 4.0%, strongly influenced by gains in experiential/event marketing.” In 2013, this category increased more than media (0%), advertising (1.8%) and PR (2.4%) compared to the prior year.

“It’s not surprising that experiential/event marketing has grown. This further proves that marketers value the importance of integrated live and digital events and the impact that only face-to-face experiences and social engagement can deliver,” added Cavanaugh. "Our clients are asking for experiences that are incorporated into an overall marketing campaign, creating richer, more meaningful connections."

To help deliver these integrated marketing experiences, in the past year FreemanXP has expanded its global footprint with offices in London, Los Angeles, and New York City, while also growing it’s strategic, creative, entertainment, digital, and account teams.
