Changi Airport Group and FreemanXP Receive Gold Award from CEI and Campaign Asia

Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4 Open House is honoured as Best Brand Experience - B2C Category

SINGAPORE – 11 June 2018 – Freeman, the leading provider of brand experiences, announced today that the company’s agency division, FreemanXP, was named Gold winner by CEI and Campaign Asia Magazine in the 2018 Event Marketing Awards.

FreemanXP Singapore partnered with Changi Airport Group to deliver an immersive brand experience that highlighted Changi Airport’s passenger-centric approach and position Changi as the world’s best airport — not merely a transit point, but also a destination.

“It was such an amazing opportunity to partner with Changi Airport Group to deliver the Terminal 4 Open House,” said Adam Charles, SVP and Managing Director, Asia Pacific, FreemanXP. “This was a very important brand experience campaign for Singapore by letting attendees know that T4 is not simply a point of embarkation, but an enjoyable location to celebrate the beginning of new adventures and travels.”  

FreemanXP developed the concept and executed the program from 7 to 20 August 2017, in partnership with Changi Airport Group. In keeping with Terminal 4’s high-tech approach, and in order to manage the vast number of visitors (up to 1,200 per hour), the agency devised a smartphone-based self-guided tour that showcase the terminal’s functional aspects and emphasize the brand values of Terminal 4’s tagline: “Fun, vibrant and positively surprising.”

This campaign has also been shortlisted for the Festival of Media APAC Awards’ Best Media Campaign of South East Asia.
