Using Surveys to Measure Your Performance in Trade Shows and Events

If executive management is demanding more than anecdotal information on the success of your event, providing show and event metrics that can be mapped back to objectives is imperative for the long-term success of your program. This session focuses on post-show surveys and obtaining the data you need, including the benefits of measuring, planning strategies, research techniques, post-show attendee lead surveys, understanding exhibit performance metrics, and more.

Selecting the Right Shows: The Critical Decision

Wednesday, March 15th: 10am-11:30am and Thursday, March 16th: 10:00am-11:30am

Determining your event mix strategy is critical to making decisions regarding your show and event participation. This session will cover five steps in the show selection process to help you make the right decisions, along with templates of forms you can use immediately. We will explore how to identify markets that represent the most potential, develop a universe of potential shows, and obtain and analyze data that will optimize your show participation. You will also learn about a return on investment estimator developed for the tradeshow industry.

Digital Native Event Models and the Creation of Innovative Brand Experiences

 Thursday, March 15th: 8:00am-9:30am  

Digital Natives (those born since we've had the internet) are revolutionizing event design and disrupting existing models in ways that will forever change our approaches to event experiences and sponsorships. Explore emerging Digital Native event trends and contrast them against traditional trade show models by experiencing new models of learning and collaboration. During this session, you will engage in different learning and collaboration formats to co-design cool and meaningful brand experience ideas for this powerful, new sector of participants. You will co-create innovative sponsor brand experience models and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities for the future.
