How it works

All you need is a browser

To get started, all you need is a modern Web browser. Simply load your presentation into FXP | touch, choose your interactions and press start. It’s that simple.

Check out our informative help guides to get the best experience.

No download, no app required

Audiences don't have to worry about downloading an app to utilize FXP | touch. Simply open up any modern Web browser and enter your custom presentation address. Already have an event app in place? No problem — we work seamlessly with event apps as well.

Import presentations

Ensure your presentation always looks beautiful by simply exporting a PDF from virtually any presentation software, including PowerPoint and Keynote. Just import the PDF, and you're ready to go. Want to insert videos and animations? No problem - we can help you with that, too.

Engage your audience

With the click of a button, add beautiful multiple-choice, slider-bar and Like/Dislike audience interactions to your slides. Automatically display those results as part of your presentation - no complex software needed.

Works on mobile devices

FXP | touch works across almost every modern operating system and mobile device, including iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch), Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and, yes, even BlackBerry.

Improve your presentations

More important than any of the advanced HTML5 technologies built into FXP | touch, utilize the app to improve how you present.

“I really like this interactive app, especially submitting questions to the presenter.”

Engage your audience

Stop making engagement an empty gesture

Everybody says that they want to engage and interact with their audiences but few do - they simply don’t have the right tools in place to make it happen. The simple fact of the matter is that it's mostly a one-way street, where presenters talk to but not with an audience. FXP | touch changes all of that with simple, easy-to-use interactions that display results in real time, allowing you to truly engage your audience.

Real-time polls and surveys

Replace expensive, clunky audience response systems with a variety of polls and surveys. There is no software to add or hardware to supply. Simply present as you normally do. Stop waiting for stale data from post-event surveys with real time answers.

Ask questions

With FXP | touch, your audience can ask questions without fear of saying something stupid or goofing on a live microphone. Display their questions  at the click of a button.

Promote conversations with audience chat

Often, the speakers are not the only experts in your room. Give your audiences the ability to share their thoughts and contribute to the conversation with the built-in chat available in FXP | touch.

One-button social sharing

Easy to activate or disable for any speaker’s needs. Forget poorly taken smartphone screenshots of your meticulously crafted presentations! Now audiences can share your slides (if you choose) to their social channels.

Take, save and email notes

Your audience members can now save and take notes. If your presenters choose to share their slides, audiences immediately receive these as well. No more waiting for the end of the event to gain access to presentations.

“This is the coolest presentation you guys have done in a long time.”

Understand your audience

Measure, analyze and understand like never before

Because FXP | touch is a feature-rich, database-driven, Web-based application, you can collect a tremendous amount of data and analytics about your audience -- allowing you to truly understand your audience and what they think of the content being delivered. Discover insights about your content down to the individual slide.

Individual + aggregate data, metrics and analytics

Collect, measure and analyze data from each audience member and understand your audience as a whole.

Real-time results

Forget waiting weeks, days, hours or even minutes for your results. Get real-time understanding of your presentation and story down to the individual slide.

PDF, HTML, XLS and reports

Export your data and metrics from FXP | touch into a variety of formats, including Adobe PDF, HTML and Microsoft Excel.

Net Promoter Scores

Reports now include the ability to calculate Net Promoter Scores that tell you which speakers actually connected with your audiences and those which fell flat.

Engagement ratings

FXP | touch captures a variety of metrics, including attendance, screen time, social, interaction, and more. Presenters can now create their own custom engagement scores that focus on different metrics with our custom E-Rating system.

“First time using this interactive presentation app, and it is wonderful!”

Society of Petroleum Engineers: Tapping the Second Screen for Refined Results

We helped SPE launch an interactive exhibit competition on the show floor that drew a wide audience of new and inventive thinkers. Hardware and software technology companies  were given the opportunity to present groundbreaking ideas in the oil, gas and energy sectors for this contest. Attendees used second screen technology, FXP | touch, to provide real-time feedback on both the presentation and the ideas presented. The technology amplified the experience by turning peers into judges to determine the winner, creating a bit of competition, and creating a fun and friendly environment.

Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition attendees’ contributions and participation were tracked through FXP | touch so that SPE could see the levels of audience engagement throughout the interactive exhibit sessions and the opening and closing general sessions.  While most Q&As only receive a handful of responses, nearly half of the ATCE audience responded to every question! Afterward, the speaker thanked SPE for the first quantitative data she has received in 35 years evaluating her presentation skills.

American Society of Landscape Architects Annual Meeting & Expo

"We are thrilled with how well received FXP | touch has been with our speakers and session attendees. Thank you so very much for all of the time you have put into this project and your patience with our speakers.  You’ve been fabulous! Love you guys!”

Knowing that research indicates interaction with a “second screen” can enhance engagement in conference sessions, Freeman deployed its FXP | touch platform as a way to invite greater communication between speakers and audience members via instantaneous polling and assessment.

Of the 888 individuals who attended the seven conference sessions, nearly 65 percent logged in and used FXP | touch. Just over 48 percent of users voted on at least one question. When asked to use the devices to evaluate the sessions, respondents had an overall average approval rate of 93.5 percent (out of a possible 100 percent). When asked if they would recommend the session to colleagues, on a scale of 0 to 10, the average response was 8.7, and when asked if the information could be used in their jobs, the average response was 8.3.

PCMA Convening Leaders: Presenting to the Experts

PCMA turned to FreemanXP to take the conference to the next level. Industry leaders frequently attend conferences to learn about how to improve the audience experience. PCMA aimed to keep attendees interested from start to finish during educational sessions with FXP | touch,  with participants using their own devices as the second screens.

Presenters for the educational sessions were able to include FXP | touch as a tool to enhance the audience engagement. Attendees were not just engaged using FXP | touch, they were consumed by the technology. The technology allowed users to answer questions, take surveys and submit questions as they viewed the presentation.

We had over 95 percent of the attendees use FXP | touch in a single session. The session was so highly attended that we needed to use an overflow room to accommodate the attendees. The second screen kept audience members included from the overflow room because they were still a part of the presentation.

During the session, there was a very positive reaction from attendees, with a steady stream of comments in the live feed. More than 85 percent of the session attendees thought it was a helpful tool.
